These grains are very robust and multiplies quickly during warm summer months. Guarantee to make you wonderful kefir in no time. Grains are measured using a measuring cup prior shipping and may settle during transit time but will not affect it's productivity. Have hundreds of satisfied customers!
Grains are measured by WEIGHT (~3 oz.) on the day of shipping, NOT by VOLUME. We pick large and healthy grains to ship but we have found out due to the post office processing and transit handling, the grains are often smaller upon arrival. This is normal and will not affect its functionality. In fact, due to increased surface area, small grans culture more quickly. Please allow 2-3 batches for the grains to recover from stress of transit and a new environment.
**Please order when the outside temperature (day or night) in your area is between 39℉ (4℃) and 89℉ (30℃) for the next 10 days. The integrity of the grain may be damaged when reached higher temperature and is out of our control thus we cannot guarantee it's viability. Please check the local weather forecast before ordering.

Shipped in double zipped lock bags inside a bubble wrap envelope. Ship anywhere in the continental US via 1st class USPS. Transit time is APPROXIMATELY 2-6 business days for domestic. Please following your own package by the tracking number provided with each order. Contact us if your item have been damaged in shipping or have any issue in using the item. We do not have any influence over the transit time or how the post office handle the package.
Orders placed before 1 PM (PST) Monday through Thursday will be shipped on the same day. Order placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday if holiday. US shipping only. If you order by accident, please contact us immediately.
IMPORTANT: If your mail box sits in the sun, please retrieve your package as soon as possible and refrigerate immediately before using. These are living organism so put into sugar water as soon as you can. The grains may be processed by the post office machineries and decrease in size but it should not affect it's viability.
