Ethanol content: about 31% (by volume).
The drug has a pronounced anti-inflammatory action, as well as normalizes the tone of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: helps eliminate spasm without influence on normal peristalsis, and at reduced tone and motility has a tonic, prokinetic effect. In the experiment in vitro inhibits the growth of 6 subspecies of Helicobacter pylori. Iberogast® reduces the intensity of gastric mucosa ulceration, gastric acid secretion, reduces the concentration of leukotrienes, enhances the production of mucins  increases the concentration of mukoprotektive prostaglandin E2 in the gastric mucosa.
Indications for use:
The drug is used for the treatment of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal intestinal tract (including irritable bowel syndrome), manifest weight in the epigastric region, stomach cramps, or bowel, belching, nausea, bloating, constipation, diarrhea or alternating, as well as in the complex treatment of gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer .
