A Carefully Crafted and Effective Remedy
All pain is caused by stagnation of energy.  This formula moves Qi and Blood, cleansing the mind of stuck negative thought patterns. Simultaneously, it includes herbs that nourish and uplift the spirit and the mind.
    Cyperus and White Peony
root work synergistically to smooth the flow of Liver Qi. According to Traditional Chinese Herbalism, the Liver is in charge of the smooth flow of Qi, Blood, and emotions. A decongested Liver promotes a balanced mind, that can ride the waves of life with grace and non-attachment.
    Albizzia
is known as “the tree of happiness”. The bark is grounding and works to resolve deep-rooted, emotional issues. The flower lifts the spirit and helps to resolve acute emotional issues, such as the stress from being stuck in traffic or getting into an argument. They both work together to provide immediate and long term upliftment.
    Rose flower
moves Blood and Qi and promotes a state of happiness.  Rose circulates stagnant energy in the chest, which is where some people hold their emotional pain.
    Asparagus root
is known in Taoism for its metaphysical properties.  It is said to open up the heart and build the Shen (spirit/mind), promoting feelings of love, compassion, and happiness.  It also purifies the lungs and boosts Lung Qi.
    Jujube dates
are traditionally used in formulas to harmonize the effects of all of the herbs.  It is also included to sweeten the formula and to tonify Qi.
    Monk Fruit is
a low-glycemic sweetener.  It gets its name from the Buddhist monks from Guilin China who were early consumers of the fruit.   It tonifies Lung Qi.  Sadness is associated with weak Lung Qi in Chinese herbalism.
This formula can be used long term to support a more balanced mind and positive mood. It can also be used for acute relief during emotional emergencies. It's designed to be a potent ally during times of grief and loss, during the colder months for those with winter blues, when one is clinging to a stressful emotional state, or when one just wants to encourage an already wonderful day.
