    Description

    Mugwort is an ancient herb with a deep history of culinary and ceremonial purposes. The herb was also traditionally used to counter respiratory & gastrointestinal complaints as well as topical infections. Mugwort herb has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It was traditionally used to treat epilepsy and some psychiatric disorders. An infusion of mugwort makes a great all purpose cleanser and insect repellant.
    Mugwort is described as tasting like chrysanthemum flowers. It is traditionally used in tea blends, but beware that the thujone content in the leaf can be toxic in high dosages. It is a great source of vitamin C, beta carotene, calcium and zinc. It has also been said to enhance dreams when placed under your pillow at night.
    Magical uses include: using mugwort water to cleanse ritual tools, dream pillows,
    protective sachets, smudging herb, keeping unwelcome energies at bay.

    - Infuse in oil or alcohol for use in cosmetics (lotions, ointments and liniments).
    - Add to tea blends, alone or with other herbs.
