Refurbished Dukane 4A3080 Single Patient Station
This Buy It Now Auction is for a fully refurbished Dukane 4A3080 Single Patient/Bed station.  I have 11 stations available.  My company was one of the oldest Dukane distributors in the nation, and when I sold it and retired in 2013, I continued supporting many of my Healthcare customers.  I have attended and passed all of Dukane's ProCare factory service training courses.  If you're looking at my listing you probably already know that the ProCare 2000 is a great system but Dukane never got the Cancel button right.  The original design required more travel than the faceplate overlay/membrane could accommodate without cracking.  The next generation utilized an actuator that was hinged on one side and provided an arcing motion to a switch that was expecting a straight on push.  The Cancel button was also hard to push and didn't give any feedback that the station actually canceled. If the Cancel button was pushed too hard the actuator would slide off the switch and the faceplate and overlay/membrane would fail with a big hole as can be seen in photo's # 4,5&6.
As new stations became expensive and hard to find, I designed a custom cancel button actuator along with a new switch that provides tactile feedback.  My new switch only needs a light touch and makes a nice audible click when pushed.  It also makes the faceplate overlay/membrane hold up much better.  I make an insert that replaces the cancel button area of the faceplate (see photo # 7).  This also serves a a guide for the new actuator that I make (see photo # 8).  The cancel switch on the station circuit board is replaced with a tactile feedback switch and any bad components on the board are replaced.  Many of the older stations used an all plastic call jack that did not hold up well, so I replace them with the metal/plastic version that was used on the later stations (see photo # 9).  Every station gets a brand new faceplate overlay/membrane also in photo # 9, and if the speaker grille is damaged it is also replaced.  The stations look like new and work better than new.  Every station is fully tested for normal call, cord out call, corridor dome light drivers, and speaker intercom.  This is not the typical salvaged untested station you often see on eBay.  I've refurbished thousands stations over the last 8 years but due to health issues I'm selling off what I have in stock and not taking on any new work.  This is the last of my 4A3080's that I'll be selling, so get them before there gone.  I'll be listing some other ProCare 1000 and 2000 stations in the near future as I sort out what I have left.
The Buy It Now auction is for 1 station, and includes free shipping by USPS Priority Mail, FedEx, or UPS depending on your location and number of stations you select.  Use the Quantity box at the top of the listing if you want to purchase more than one station.  The station or stations will be well packed and each station will be in a sealed anti-static bag.   Please note that the stations do not include the trim ring that snaps over the station to hide the mounting screws.  If the tabs are broken on your existing trim rings, you can fasten them with a small dab of RTV silicon caulk and still remove them if you ever need to.
