    Description

This nice vintage desk pen holder is almost 31 years old.  Hard to believe, but it's from the Cheyenne Days Rodeo in 1990 and the Wyoming Centennial celebration.  The bucking horse and rider is the official state logo for Wyoming.  Great trivia question, "Who is the rider depicted on the Wyoming state logo?  And what was the horse's name?"  Well, tradition has it that the rider was Clayton Dank who rode the horse Steamboat in the 1911 Cheyenne Days Rodeo and has been immortalized as the official state logo.  I'm not certain about what the Wyoming Jade is, but it has that label on the back.  All in all in very good condition, but missing the easily replaced desk pen.  A little over 6" long and about 3" wide.
And that Wyoming Jade is about a half inch thick.
Be sure to look at the pictures which are part of the description and ask any questions before bidding.
